Any sellers who manufacturers or markets genuine products or delivers services can become a seller on the Government E-Marketplace. The process for registration is simple and once registered, a GeM user id and password is provided to access the seller account.
Catalog Management
Through the seller account, the seller or service provider can list the products or services offered by them along with the pricing. The seller is free to set the price of the product as per their costing. But its must to include in the final price, the cost for packing & taxes, duties etc.
GeM Tender Bidding
GeM is dynamic, self sustaining and user friendly portal for making procurement by Government officers. And seller or service provider can participate their business categorised tenders with relavent documents submission and price quotation.
GeM Order Management
On placing an order by a government buyer, the seller will get notiļ¬ed about the order. The seller has to accept the order within 5 calendar days, else the order shall be auto-canceled. Seller has to generate an invoice by entering product details.
OEM Panel Generation
Original Manufacturer Equipment Panel offers the sellers to introduce their product with brand in GeM Market. Buyer can find seller product with trademark and also can get the manufacturing details. OEM can approve seller request for some categories with the use of Panel.
Reseller Panel Generation
Each and every profile on Gem will create with Reseller Panel by default, Reseller can send an approval request for the product category to the OEM by the use of their Panel. After approval from OEM, Reseller can upload their products.
GeM Tender Floating
Every big amount requirement of buyer needs to be fulfill in the form of Tender. Because of there a limitation of direct purchase by clicking on product link. Tender can be publish from the buyer account and all seller has to be participate into it.
